(15,4KB) ============================================================================== Introduction [FH.02.01] ============================================================================== Taken from the official manual; "You're in a trance. You pick up a knife and stab a man you have never met before. As you come around you realise what you've done. The police will come. There’s only one thing to do - run. As an ordinary IT manager working in the city, there isn't a clear answer to why you've suddenly become a murderer. All that’s left is the weapon in your hand and a strange symbol carved into your arm. But this isn't an isolated incident: others are killing total strangers too. Now you have to discover the truth before you lose your mind or get caught by the police. But you've got an advantage: you can take on the roles of four key characters to help you understand what’s going on and link all the signs together. Become Lucas Kane the murderer, one of two detectives, or Markus Kane, Lucas’s brother and priest. Look at everything from a different perspective. Tackle everyone in a different way. Play as each character and you'll discover just what’s behind these murders..." ============================================================================== Characters [FH.03.01] ============================================================================== Lucas Kane - Fahrenheit’s main character - an average IT manager, who suddenly turns into a murderer. But Lucas knows he wasn't in control when he did it. All he can do is try to discover the truth before he gets caught by the police. Carla Valenti - Nobody challenges Carla, the NYPD detective in charge of the Doc’s Diner murder. Initially she puts the brutal murder down to the work of a psychotic mind. But the ritual pattern left behind makes her look further than the obvious suspect. Tyler Miles - NYPD detective Tyler is troubled by his relationship problems and long working hours. He’s more than ready to wrap up this case immediately. That is until Carla takes things one step further. This murder isn't going to be solved easily. Markus Kane - Markus hadn't heard from his brother Lucas for two years. And now he comes to him with blood stained hands. As a priest he’s torn between doing the right thing and his family ties. Is blood thicker than holy water? ============================================================================== Walkthrough [FH.04.01] ============================================================================== Let's go through a few things before we start; * This walkthrough is written for the European version of the PC-game. Yes, you can still use this walkthrough for the American version, but it'll miss out some things, since they censored it. Yes, you can still use it for the Xbox or PS2 version of the game, but don't ask me what the controls are or why x or y is different. * Try to keep your character status as high as possible (neutral). When it gets too low, you'll go insane, and that's not what you want. * Do the tutorial before you start, if you like. It'll help you out a bit, even though they don't cover everything (which is a rather bad thing, since some things are important, if you ask me). * Sometimes I didn't include the number of points you gain or lose. Help me out there, if you like. * If you're playing the PC-version, redefine your controls. I used WASD for the character movement, the arrow keys for the other "pad", and left shift for running. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Murder [DH.04.02] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Playable Characters: Lucas Bonus Points: N/A Location: Doc's Dinner Points: Removing body +5 Sweeping blood +5 Hide knife +5 Remove blood from your body +5 Get coin +5 Eat +5 Drink +5 Play jukebox +5 (?) Leave dinner when paid +5 Leave with a cab +10 Leave with the subway +10 Look out of window in restroom -5 Use phone -5 Walk behind counter -5 Talk to man with hat -5 Talk to waitress -5 Talk to cop -10 Leave without paying -10 Note: This is the part of the game you'll play during the demo. Just this chapter. You see a man urinating. He washed his hands, and doesn't notice anything strange. However, you are sitting on a toilet, carving symbols in your arms, and approaching the man. Then you stab him, and kill him. You'll go from neutral to depressed, realise what you did, and from that moment on, you can control Lucas. You need to wipe out the traces you left everywhere. First, drag the man into a toilet. You need to do the little left-right-left mini-game for this. You left quite some blood by doing this. Grab the mop, and sweep the floor (to do this, hold both left and right mouse button, and makes a movement up, 180 degrees clockwise, up again etc.). There is a knife on the floor, near the urinoirs. Grab it, to get rid of it. Then wash yourself, so the blood is removed. Walk towards the vending machine, and use it to notice it's broken. Do the same thing, and this time hit the machine until it drops a coin. Pick that up. Leave the restroom. Walk to your table, and sit down. Eat some food, and drink something. Use the coin to play the jukebox, and then get out of the dinner. Find the entrance to the subway, and leave that way. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Investigation [DH.04.03] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Playable Characters: Carla, Tyler Bonus Points: N/A Location: Doc's Dinner Points: Drink coffee (both) +5 (?) Talk with the guys at the bar (both) +5 (?) Getting near the cab (Carla) +10(?) Put jukebox on (Tyler) -10 (?) Talk with homeless guy (both) -10 (?) Use urinoir (Tyler) -10 (?) Time for the cops to investigate this place. Both Carla and Tyler have something going on in their mind, so listen to that. After that, enter the dinner. Let Carla talk to the cop, and he'll tell you to take it easy with Kate (the waitress). Talk with the guys at the bar, and then have a little chat with Kate. Be nice to her, and support her to get to know as much as possible (I know, it's like getting yourself into trouble - but it's needed for the story). Head behind the counter and drink some coffee (Tyler can do the same), and then look at the table where Lucas sat. He left a book of Shakespeare underneath his seat, so grab that. Also look at his stuff on the table. Let Tyler look at it too, and let him talk with the guys at the bar as well. Enter the restroom, and let Carla investigate the blood on the floor. Let Tyler look at the blood in the bathroom Lucas came from. He can also grab in the trashcan, but it has no use. The location of the knife is random, and it can be either in the most right toilet (let Tyler flush the toilet) or hidden at the window (let Carla look). When you found it, talk to the guys at the bar, head back to the car, and call it a day. Or night. Whatever. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Day After [DH.04.04] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Playable Characters: Lucas Bonus Points: 5 Location: Lucas' Apartment Points: Using the toilet +5 (?) Take a shower +5 (?) Putting music on +5 (?) Take medicine +10 (?) Use bandages +10 (?) Drink milk +5 (?) Watching TV -5 (?) Watching at photo at desk -5 (?) You wake up, and realise soon enough it wasn't a dream. Your bed is covered in blood. Stand up, and take the medicine on your table to feel a bit better. Look at your bed, and hide the blood under the sheets. You need to call your brother and ask him if he can talk with you. Head outside the room, and use the phone. After that, pick up your shirt, that's near the pillar, in front of you. Open the door ahead, and put it in the washing machine. So much for that. Open the medicine cabinet, and use the bandages. When you're done, close the cabinet, and get scared. Take a nice shower and use the toilet. Then walk back to your room, and put some clothes on. Back into the living room, open a cupboard to find a bonus card. Also look in the frig for milk. After a while, a policeman will come knocking on the door. Open up, and he'll ask what's going on. Tell him you cut yourself with some glass, and it's no problem if he takes a look inside. He'll leave soon enough. And that's it for now, stay tuned for more (I actually finished much more of the game, but will write it down later, since my memory is a bit vague about this part of the game =p). ============================================================================== FAQ [FH.05.01] ============================================================================== Q: Moo?
