You will play as Stanley, and you will not play as Stanley. You will follow a story, you will not follow a story. You will have a choice, you will have no choice. The game will end, the game will never end. Contradiction follows contradiction, the rules of how games should work are broken, then broken again. This world was not made for you to understand. But as you explore, slowly, meaning begins to arise, the paradoxes might start to make sense, perhaps you are powerful after all. The game is not here to fight you; it is inviting you to dance. Based on the award-winning 2011 Source mod of the same name, The Stanley Parable returns with new content, new ideas, a fresh coat of visual paint, and the stunning voicework of Kevan Brighting. (Loading) - Follow the path. - Click the button on the desks and keep going until you take an elevator up. - Enter the double door on the right side. - Press the "OFF" button. - Go outside when the door is open. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Coward Ending [SP.02.03] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ - Close your office door. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Out of Bounds Ending [SP.02.04] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ - Leave the office. - There is a chair to the left you can climb, that'll allow you to get on a desk. By crouching, you can now fall through the window. - Reset at some point. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Countdown Ending [SP.02.05] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ - Use the path used in the "Freedom Ending" (above), but at the very end, press the "ON" button. - Wait, there's no way to solve the puzzle. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Museum Ending [SP.02.06] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ - Use the regular path (like above) until you took the lift down and see the "escape" sign. - Follow the hallway and fall down. - Explore the museum. - Exit the museum. - You'll have to restart at this point, whatever you decide to do. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Escape Pod Ending [SP.02.07] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ - Use the regular path, until you are in front of your boss' office. - When you enter, quickly turn around. The doors should close, but you will not be inside the office. - Go all the way back to your office, there should be an open door. - Walk all the way up and enter the escape pod. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Insane Ending [SP.02.08] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ - Use the regular path until you come to the stairs. - Go down and follow the path/narration. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Confusion Ending [SP.02.09] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ - Instead of going left at the twin doors, go right. - When you can go back left (the narrator will tell you to), do so. - Take the elevator down. - Have fun. It ends after the narrator gets confused. A lot. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Powerful Ending [SP.02.10] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ - Instead of going left at the twin doors, go right. - Ignore the door on the left and keep going. - Jump down the platform after you got on. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Stanley's Wife Ending [SP.02.11] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ - Instead of going left at the twin doors, go right. - Ignore the door on the left and keep going. - Keep going until you have to answer a phone. - Answer the phone. - Play along. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Corrupted Ending [SP.02.12] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ - Instead of going left at the twin doors, go right. - Ignore the door on the left and keep going. - Keep going until you have to answer a phone. - Unplug phone. - For the most fun, do the opposite what the narrator says, but that's not required. Just keep playing. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Suicide Ending [SP.02.13] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ - Instead of going left at the twin doors, go right. - Ignore the door on the left and keep going. - From the platform, you can jump down onto the catwalk. Do so. - Follow the red door. - Eventually, you'll want to stop this madness, so leave. - Climb up the stairs and fall down. - Again. - Done. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Games Ending [SP.02.14] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ - Instead of going left at the twin doors, go right. - Ignore the door on the left and keep going. - From the platform, you can jump down onto the catwalk. Do so - Follow the blue door. Note: If you play the baby game for four hours, you will actually get something. Not worth it. Note: Don't try to be funny and cheat the Portal level by throwing the cube around. You'll have to reset and do it all over. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Heaven Ending [SP.02.15] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ For this ending, you need to find computers that say "AWAITING INPUT" and interact with them. I'm not 100% sure if you need to do another (or perhaps the regular) ending before this is activated. Anyway, start the game and restart again. Now look for these desks and interact with the computers if they are waiting for your input: - Desk 419 - Desk 423 - Secretary desk outside of boss' office - Desk 434 - Stanley's desk If you hit the last input at Stanley's desk, you'll be taken to heaven. Have fun? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Cheaters Ending [SP.02.16] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Before you start the game, enable the console by adding -console to the parameter to start the game. Now open the console (~) and enter sv_cheats 1 You'll never cheat again. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ What You (May) Miss [SP.02.17] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ There are a lot of random elements when you start this game. Some might be these. Or not at all. Or ever. Or always. It's pretty random. Did I mention that random part? - The office you leave is not the same office as always. This almost certainly won't happen until you found one ending. And even then, it may rarely occur. To speedrun the game, you need either a blue office or go straight to a single hallway as soon as you leave your office. It's rare, it's random, just don't try unless you have OCD of really care a lot. - Sometimes the telephone on the desk just outside your office on the left will ring. It may be Stanley's wife, a disclaimer about how dangerous automated messages are or just to confirm your order of boxes. Restart the game to find said boxes. All around the office. - It may rain. Doesn't seem to have any other effect. - If the narrator mentions someone following you, look around windows into other offices and you may see another Stanley walking around. - Sometimes the floor will be littered with papers. Has no other effect. - If you stand in the broom closet (right after the meeting room, when you took the left door) for a while, the narrator will assume you (the player) has died and requests another player. If you restart the game and go into the broom closet again and restart again, the broom closet will be boarded off. - Make sure the broom closet doesn't say "boom closet", or you'll be in for a surprise. - The monitors may say different things. Unless it asks for an input (which is required for the heaving ending), it has no effect. - In the Mind Control Facility, press the three buttons and go back. DISCO! - When you enter your boss' office, and leave before the doors close, you can enter the bathroom (left from the stairs) and the elevator (opposite the boss' office). The bathroom will have a random "rhyme", the elevator will keep you entertained. But it'll never end, so don't take too much time in there. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Achievements [SP.02.18] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ - 8888888888888888 - Get to your boss' office and keep pressing 8 on the keypad. - Achievement - Check your options and turn them on. - Beat the game - I feel sorry for you. - Click on door 430 five times. - Just outside your office, there'll be a door called 430. Click on it five times. And then follow the instructions. - Commitment - It's as easy as that. Have the game running the entire duration of Tuesday. Use your system clock to "edit" things a bit. - Go outside - Either don't play for five years, or quit the game, set your system clock forward for five years and then some and start the game again. - Speed run - Complete the "freedom ending" within 4 minutes and 22 seconds. Extremely hard. First, go to your boss' office three times, so you can walk straight through. And that was the easy part. You need to restart until you either get a hallway to the "twin doors" or until you get to a blue office. You will not make it otherwise. If you get this start, just run and hope you get it. During the "monitor room", you can climb on desks and then jump down to save a few seconds. Note you can get stuck between desks or fall down and you'll have to restart. - You can't jump - Press space a lot of times. - Unachievable - You can get it, but it's a secret. - Welcome back! - Quit the game and open it again. ============================================================================== Conclusion [SP.03.01] ============================================================================== I hope you enjoyed my guide, since I put a lot of work towards it.
